Welcome to my newest blog. My goal is to complete a 365 project even though I am starting a little late this year. I failed in my attempt before...but with a new camera and faster laptop I am renewed in my efforts to post successfully...wish me luck!

Well worn friends...

You have to break a few crayons to produce some beautiful works of art...these crayons have certainly been worked to the bone...but there is still some creativity left in them, for sure...stay tuned!

Die Hard Bargain Hunters...

Linda, Ellen and I headed up to Stormville, NY Flea Market, bright and early this morning, to do our part to stimulate the economy. We weathered the 95 degree heat and perservered in hopes of scoring some good deals. We were very successful in our efforts and headed back before the noon day sun beat down on us and turned us into puddles. Happy 4th of July...what a country!

Camping Buddies....

...all grown up. Today we went to a graduation party for our friend's youngest daughter, Leah. We spent many happy summer holidays together with all these folks back when our daughters were very young, camping by the river, near the Knightville Dam in Chesterfield, MA. Lauren and Leah remember these times as some of their happiest vacations, as do Leah C. and Brittany. So here they are today at the party all grown up! Good times, great people, sweet memories!

Bluer than blue.....

Could the sky be any bluer today? If this is summer weather let me bask in it forever!

Reunited....

...and it feels sooooo good!

Homecoming

A piece of my heart came back tonight and I feel complete again...it's very late and the photo is blurry as am I but now I can sleep peacefully again knowing my daughter is back home after a very long, long year abroad. Good night!
