Divan Japonais: Penguin Syle

 
Our school's mascot is the rockhopper penguin and as part of an art project both teachers and students are taking famous works of art and inserting our penguin into the mix..this is one of my efforts...Hard to put a penguin's beak on a beautiful woman's face...but c'est la vie!

CMT testing ends tomorrow...back to normal schedule again...(or as normal as it's going to get)...the natives are restless!

I was testing CMTs in the bookroom this morning and started looking thru all the colorful books of poetry...I love the cheerful colors in some of the illustrations.

I need a better system...

 
My obsession with jewelry has gotten out of control..I have too many baubles and nowhere to keep them all. I think I need an intervention.

Summertime....your chair is waiting

 
With just a small taste of spring fever this weekend..my mind turns to summertime, sitting in my wicker chair, lazily reading..ahhh

We started meeting for breakfast at LaSalle Market on Saturday mornings awhile back...our numbers keep growing...soon we are going to have to rent a table...but we do discuss all the HOT TOPICS!
