It's the official start of the summer and to christen our new patio we made a pitcher of Presidente Margaritas tonight...they were "mucho excellente"...(maybe a little tooo good ;)

On the road to recovery...

 
We visited our friend, Pat at McLean's Rehab. Center tonight just a week after she had double knee replacement surgury....she is doing amazingly well and up and walking already...hard to keep a good woman down!!

Kathy, Janet, Linda and moi walked the trail in Collinsville today. A beautiful place for photographers, bikers, joggers and walkers alike. Liked it so much might just do it again tomorrow!

Using my macro lense along the Trail, I caught up with my favorite thing...a lovely spider spinning it's web.

...is another woman's treasure! I love finding old metal barrels,buckets,and wash basins at tag sales and flea markets. They make for great container gardens. These are just a few from my collection.

After 6 weeks of back breaking work...(mostly Dave's)...and countless shopping trips (mostly me)..our patio is just about finished...just in time for summer...bring on the margeritas!

Card for a friend...

 
One of my good friends is in the hospital recovering from major surgury...thought she could use a little cheering up so painted a card for her...hope she's back on her feet again real soon.

We spent the day in the garden centers and in the yard beginning to plant color everywhere. You gotta love flowers...such little things make me soo happy!
